Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) California Well Statewide Tracking and Reporting (WellSTAR) Project

The WellSTAR project modernized the Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS) originally developed by the Ground Water Protection Council (GWPC) to improve oil, gas, and Underground Injection Control data management for DOGGR. The solution is hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud and supports B2G and G2G access via RESTful web services following the Microsoft .NET MVC Web API implementation pattern. User-facing access is provided through web portals using HTML5 following Microsoft’s MVC 5 design and programming pattern.

Voyatek was responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing, maintaining, and operating the WellSTAR system in partnership with DOGGR and the GWPC.
